These are our friends the Romney's who used to live next door to us. Heather really wanted a family picture and this is what we got! So cute! I love the look on Sam's face! Anyway, after pictures we were really brave and we all went out to dinner with all the kids! They were a riot, I don't think Cafe Rio will ever be the same! Next time, I say we ditch the kiddos, leave them with some Grandmas and attempt to have some grown-up conversation...that is if we can remember what that is!

So I spent the morning with Owen and Sam, yes, I know, I just did their family pictures last week, but this was a 4 year old shoot and a 1 year old shoot and I had so much fun! We were in Phoenix and they came over to my moms house and we did these right in her front yard. Then we came home and my life got really crazy with Christmas and the Hawaii trip. Before Alex and I left for Maui, we backed up all of my photo shoots on the computer to our external hardrive, which I promptly forgot about until now and I am so sorry! Anyway, better late than never and it was fun to look at these again, they are such a wonderful family and I had a fun time taking their pictures!

This little cutie is my niece Brea or "Breda" as Ian calls her. Isn't she adorable? We took these this morning and I just could not wait to post them. She had so many fun girly outfits that I took over 250 pictures! I had a hard time stopping! :) I had a lot of fun with this chair as well, can you tell? It turned out to be a great prop and added so much to the picture, not that it needed much adding too with that pretty little girl! I can't get over how big she is now, time goes by way too fast! How cute is this baby?! This is Beckett who we met a while ago when he was pretty brand new. I can't get over how big he is now and how adorable he is! We had a fun morning and he was really good for us. He wasn't very smiley but I love what I shot! My absolute favorite pictures are the ones of him in the blue knit hat! Too cute!

OK, so we have been going a little stir crazy this winter! It is hard to be inside so much. But we manage to have some fun together! Photography has been slow because no one (including me!) wants to be outside for an extended amount of time, so another reason I want it to warm up soon! Mom, does this look familiar? At least I caught him before he smushed the raisins into the carpet! For those of you who do not know the stroy, when I was little, I did the same thing to my Mom's carpet. She was not as lucky as I was! What a mess and while I was cleaning them up, he kept grabbing them and throwing them and laughing! What a stinker!

We went sledding today! It was a nice today (if you condsider 49 degrees nice!) and the boys had a blast! Ian would laugh and laugh all the way down and as soon as the sled stopped he would start to cry, he wanted to keep going! And Mason would say, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas," as they went speeding along! They were hilarious!

Here are the newly married Stacey and Cory! I just have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this couple! They are so in love with each other! It was adorable! They got married in the Ogden Temple and it was yet another cold day, but I don't think that they even noticed! Here are just a few teasers for them to see, as I am still editing their pictures. I am so late in blogging about Christmas! We had such a wonderful one with our sweet little guys. They were totally spoiled by everyone. It was fun to see Mason start to understand what was going on and Ian was just loving the beautiful tree. Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season. I think at Christmas time we really reflect on just how much we are blessed and I truly am. I have wonderful family, 2 terrific kids and a fantastic husband. They are my life and I love them very much.

Alex and I went to Maui last week and we had so much fun! We left the boys for the first time and my wonderful Mom and sister Malorie came up here and watched the boys for us. I had never been and was not quite sure that I would like Hawaii (I don't like the ocean!) but I absolutely loved it! And it was even more wonderful because I was there with Alex (awwww!) Anyway, we can't wait to go back sometime soon with the boys! I did not take my really good camera because I did not want to lug it around so these pictures are just OK. Next time I will have to take it instead of the little camera, anyway, I am babbling! Here are some fun pictures... (This is for you Dad! OK, I just love these pictures! We took them today and I could not wait to get them up on my blog. Aren't they just too darn adorable? I have known these kids since they were tiny and we had such a fun day. They are every photographers dream because they kept asking me if I would take more pictures of them and they kept coming up with their own ideas! But can you tell that I just loved this tree?! I have more that I will post when I am done editing them, but anyway, these kids were so good and sweet! I had a blast! Thanks!

This is my sons pre-school teachers beautiful family. We went down to Memory Grove and let me tell you, it was so COLD that afternoon! We were worried all week that it was going to snow, but it ended up being a sunny day. These kids were such troopers and they are so adorable! This is Stacey (isn't she so pretty?!) and Cory. I had the privilege of taking their engagement pictures last Saturday. I think that they are going to be very happy together!

Pre-School Days

I went into my sons pre-school a few weeks ago and took some pictures there. Let me tell you, those kids were hilarious! They were totally cracking me up! Most of these shots were taken during show and tell. I did not have the best light but what I got, I love. They are very dramatic and grainy. Quite a different look for me. There were quite a few kids out that day so I would love to come in again sometime and capture some more cute faces! Thanks to Mrs. Jenn for letting me come in and for doing such a great job with her pre-school!
